AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	The aim of this course is to introduce the importance of the science of Psychology, its functioning, history, modern psychological approaches, research methods, and the main personality theories that have guided the thoughts in the field and shed light on normal/abnormal behaviors and psychotherapy.
İçerik:	The content of this course: definition of psychology, history, modern psychological approaches, subfields of psychology, psychological research methods, structure of the nervous system, physiology, newborn and childhood capacities, cognitive development, development of morality and judgment, theories related to personality and personality development, consciousness. It consists of structural and topographic theory, self-defense mechanisms, sleep and dreams, sleep disorders, psychoactive substances, learning theories, psychiatric examination and introduction of various psychiatric disorders.

Recognizes different psychological approaches.
These approaches; It clearly states assumptions, approaches to growth and development, perception of anxiety and ways to cope with anxiety.
Interprets the functioning of human physiology and psychological events.
Distinguishes between what is psychiatrically normal and what is not normal.
Recognizes possible pathological situations and interprets them to intervene and direct them.
