OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to describe primarily human (selfhood) and behaviour. And to provide students to evaluate the reasons (neurobiological, heredity and social environment effects) of human behaviour with reference to behaviour theories in general framework, to contribute to student’s abilities to reinterpret human, behaviour and interaction phrases of human with social environment by analysing behaviours of human in the interactions with social environment.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as; “Who is human being”, “what is behaviour” and concepts like hierarchy of behaviour, social environment, effects of social environment and development phases on behaviour and personality.

Describe human as multidimensional.
Interpret effects of development and personality theories on individual behaviours
Explain human interactions with social environment with its general dimensions
Describe development phases and tasks of these phases
Use the knowledge of development phases for the practices of social services
