OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to study the effects of internet on human psychology and interpersonel relations due to the rapid growth in cyberworld.
Contents of the Course Unit: The positive effects of TV, radio and cinema on children and adolescents. The relationship between media and psychology applications, the differences and similarities of these relations in Turkey and in the world, the role of psychology in informing the media, media ethics, and psychology, Analysis of the media aesthetics and the effects on the individuals Media and violence and the responsibility of the media towards children.
