OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of this course is to enable students to gain the ability of risk management by understanding the importance of risk concept.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; Risk and Risk Classification, Risk and Return Measurement, Portfolio Management and Diversification, Arbitrage, Swaps, Forward Contracts, Futures Contracts, Options, Hedging, Hybrid Investment Instruments, Synthetic Investment Instruments, Hedge Funds.

Use the appropriate risk management technique for specific risk in the company he/she is working at. (Bloom 4)
