OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide information about the Internet of Things (IoT) architecture, protocol, usage areas and to develop IoT based applications.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as Internet of Things, differences between the connection of machines and the internet of objects, IoT communication technologies and applications, IoT communication protocols and applications, IoT and big data, Project presentations.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Recognize the applications used for the internet of objects.
Develop an IoT-based application.
Use big data processing techniques in the IoT.
Use protocols of communication technologies of IoT.
Choose one of the business models to be developed with the IoT.
