OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to provide information about semiotics and to analyze semiotics based on theories and principles of semiotics.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course consists of the definition and origins of semiotics, semiotics theorists, its relationship with other sciences, and semiotic analysis techniques through examples in the media.
