OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to enable the students to understand the management systems, activities and strategies applied in international enterprises and to use these strategies in the management of international firms. Throughout the course, students will be able interpret the different environmental conditions in which international organizations are involved and illustrate the strategies that these organizations will use to increase their competitive power.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; international business, strategic management, foreign trade, international trade theories, management and organization, and international trade organizations.

Analyze various international institutions and practices affecting international trade. (Bloom 4)
Interpret how effective environmental conditions in different countries can be effective in international operations. (Bloom 2)
Explain the effects of national regulations on international enterprises (Bloom 2)
Explain how cultural differences affect the individual and how this impact should be evaluated by international enterprises. (Bloom 2)
