OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to teach students the basics of logistics and supply chain, to build models for solving supply chain and logistics problems and to develop various techniques. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include the subjects such as the Basic concepts; analysis of components of logistics and supply chains such as procurement, storage, production and distribution; planning and resource allocation; modelling and coordination of procurement, production and shipment activities and optimization of relations between mathematical modelling and numerical techniques. |

Define the basic structure of supply chain management. |
Define the main drivers of supply chain performance and their relationship with functions such as strategic, operational, procurement and marketing. |
