OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, it is aimed that students gain the ability to read and analyze major literary theories and literary texts in a theoretical framework.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes the following topics: The concept of theory, the main theories affecting literature, the history of these theories, their comparison. Reading and analysis studies in theoretical framework.

Get to know the important works and literary figures of world literature.
Examine the important schools and movements of world literature.
Compare important works and literary figures of Turkish and world literature.
Compare the mentality and intellectual accumulation of world culture with those of Turkish literature.
Evaluate the mentality and intellectual accumulation of world culture.
