OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to know the tourism enterprises operating in the tourism industry and to make students aware of their operations.
Contents of the Course Unit: Business, tourism business, travel establishments, accommodation establishments, food and beverage enterprises and recreation enterprises constitute the subject of the course.

Define business and tourism management concepts.
Explain the basic functions of tourism enterprises.
Evaluate the historical background of travel, hotel and food and beverage companies.
