OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course; to give an overview of the concept of popular culture in both institutional and practical context.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course; popular culture and its historical process, cultural changes, popular culture and consumption, culture industry, media and culture relations.

Explain the meaning of popular culture.
