OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide students with an understanding of ethical values and responsibilities that play an important role in social service practice. Another purpose is to show that these values are put into action in the application.
Contents of the Course Unit: The focus of this course is on the ethical responsibilities of the social worker. These responsibilities are against the applicant, against colleagues, against the institution.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Practice ethical responsibilities in relation to the relationship with the applicant within the scope of social service ethics
Practice the profession according to ethical values by understanding the ethical codes of institutions
Debate the philosophical foundations of social service in the context of the philosophical basis of human rights
Organize structured practices with ethical values in the institution where he/she works together with the ethical values in the field of social service
