OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge and competence to benefit from conventional media and digital media in order to communicate the messages to the target audience through the most appropriate media in the Public Relations campaigns.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as basic concepts related to Public Relations and Media, Relationship between Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing, Public Relations, Relationship between Advertising and New Media, Media Use in Public Relations Campaigns and Crisis Management, Media Planning Processes in Public Relations, Internet Media and Digital Media and its use in the field of Public Relations, Public Relations applications in which Web 2.0 Pr 2.0 Web-based communication tools are used.

Define the concepts related to Media and Public Relations.
