OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skills to identify the risks to which human life and economic assets about the insurances to be made to eliminate the damages caused by these risks
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; Risk Identification, Risk Management, Insurance and Insurance Funds, Function of Insurance and Basic Concepts, Insurance Contract, Pricing in Insurance Companies, Insurance Claim Management, Reassurance, Insurance Branches

Explain the concept of risk
Differentiate the the difference between the concept of insurance as a precaution against risk
Estimate the compensation to be paid in return for the damage to occur
