AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	This course aims at illustrating and analysing the cultural themes and motifs reflected in the representative works of Migrant literature and engaging the students with the criticism of racial, ethnic, social, and political issues in the texts and developing their own solutions to these matters.
İçerik:	This course deals with migration through literary perspective and outline social, historical, political, racial, and ethnic influences in the development of Migrant literature.

explain contemporary literary and cultural theory and concepts regarding the theme of migration in terms of the theories of postcolonialism and transnationalism.
identify the key concepts in Migrant literature
analyse a selection of works pertaining to literature of migration in English in the light of contemporary literary and cultural theories
discuss the diversity of cultural development, social and political practices and experiences in Migrant literature
write an argumentative essay on the issues such as migration, discrimination, identity, indigenous culture, social representation, and so on.
