AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	Bu dersle öğrencilere fosil enerji kaynaklarının hayatımızdaki öneminin, çevresel maliyetler üzerindeki etkilerinin, enerji sektöründeki gelişmelerin temellerinin, ve enerji maliyetlerini en aza indirebilmek için çözüm üretme kabiliyetinin yollarının öğretilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.
İçerik:	Dersin içeriği, enerji ekonomisine giriş, enerji sektörü, sürdürülebilir enerji, Jeopolitika ve önemi, enerji kaynakları ve dönüşümü, enerji piyasaları: Kömür piyasası, enerji piyasaları: Ham Petrol ve Doğal Gaz, yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları: Jeotermal Enerji, Biyoyakıt ve Dalga, Güneş ve Rüzgar enerjisi, Hidroelektrik ve Nükleer, enerji maliyetleri, Fotovoltaik Dönüşüm Tekniği, ve enerji ile ilgili iktisat politikaları konularını kapsamaktadır.
