AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	Bu dersle öğrencilere iş ve üretim süreçlerinde, firmaların gerek maliyetlerini düşürmesi; gerekse de ürün farklılaştırması yapması için ihtiyaç duyulan teknoloji faktörünün genel çerçevesinin, ve teknolojik yeniliklerden faydalanarak ve teknoloji-kökenli girişimler gerçekleştiren firmalardan örnekler vererek, modern işletmelerde teknolojik olanakların kullanımının ne kadar önemli olduğunun öğretilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.
İçerik:	Dersin içeriği, teknoloji ve inovasyona giriş, teknoloji ve inovasyonla ilgili temel kavramlar, bilişim sistemleri, yaratıcı düşünme, bilgi yönetimi, inovasyon yönetimi, enformasyon toplumunda girişimcilik, fikri mülkiyet hakları, Ar-Ge yönetimi, tedarik zinciri yönetimi, yeni ürün geliştirme ve tasarımı, proje yönetimi, ve teknoloji yönetiminde liderlik ve yaratıcılık konularını kapsamaktadır.

Teknoloji ve inovasyonla ilgili temel kavramları günümüzdeki örneklerle ilişkilendirerek değerlendirir
İşletmelerde inovasyonu etkileyen faktörlerin neler olduğunu değerlendirir
İnovasyon süreci ve bu sürecin yönetilmesine ilişkin mekanizmalar hakkında öneride bulunur
Rekabet avantajı sağlamada inovasyon ve teknolojinin neden çok önemli olduğunu değerlendirir
İnovasyon ve teknolojinin; iş dünyası ve toplum üzerindeki etkilerini karşılaştırır
