OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this course, it is aimed to raise awareness of the students about logistics, which is becoming increasingly important.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course, the aims of foreign trade policy, the tools used to achieve these goals and the historical process of logistics, the objectives-benefits in logistics activity, logistics management, fields of activity, departments in the logistics company, international and local logistics concepts and differences, consideration in choosing a company in logistics service procurement. It covers general information in key areas such as essentials, logistics management and modes of transport.

Defines basic logistics concepts.
Defines the differences between transportation modes and classifies these modes.
