OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide basic skills about advertisement strategies and their applications.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include the subjects such as advertisement, history of advertisement, advertising strategies, marketing and consumer, basic film making methods, finding the idea of advertising and pre-production of the project, advertising film script writing, advertising film budget preparation and budget management.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the question of "What is advertisement?" and summarize the history of advertising.
Explain advertising strategies, marketing and consumer concepts.
Explain basic film making methods (2) and use these methods for shooting commercials.
Analyze advertising film script writing and storyboard preparation in commercial film.
Write a commercial film with their commercial film scriptwriting and commercial fiction.
