OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide an understanding of the basic technical theoretical knowledge of photography.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include the subjects such as historical development of photography and advertising photography, studio and photographic equipment, machine types and facilities, working principles of camera and elements of camera.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the historical development of photography and advertising photography.
List the perception phases of the photo.
Categorize major types of cameras and lenses.
Examine the materials and light types that should be in the photo studio.
Use the light types for photography.
