OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce Turkish and World aviation history overall, the general situation of aviation industry in the World and Turkey, the aircrafts and airports and their properties.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include works, inventions and achievements of aviators in the history of Turkish and World aviation. Areas of activity of the aviation sector (businesses, services, maintenance and manufacturing). Aircraft functions, classes and types. National and international aviation institutions. General information on national and international airport capacities and categories.
