OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to bring knowledge to students about the theoretical frameworks of social service and to teach the students how to use these theories in the practices of social service.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include forming application frameworks of social service, as a discipline and a profession, upon its approach, theories and models.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define approaches and theories befitting the occupational identity
Explain the process of social service interference in the professional life by favour of his/her knowledge about frameworks of social service application
Distinguish the differences and similarities between cognitive-behavioural theory and behavioural theory
Organize the process of social working in accordance with the principles of culturally responsive approach
Organize the process of social work with women by his / her knowledge of feminist approach
