OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with skills of working with individuals, families and groups, to provide them with the skill of application on every level, to help the applicants with contributing to the processes of social justice, human honour, individuality empowering processes by using social service theory and techniques as a base.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include social service as a problem-solving process, social service intervention process, stages of social service application process, collecting data in the levels of micro (individual) and mezzo (group), specifying the issue, planning, intervention (directly or indirect acts of application), eventuation and evaluation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Categorize the intercessor and intermediary roles of a social service expert
Finalize occupational application by learning the knowledge, skills and value basics of social service profession
Evaluate interviews to be done with interviewers by internalising the techniques of interview
Design the phases of social service applications, individuals will be through, according to logic procession
