OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Upon successful completion of the course, it is aimed that students will gain the infrastructure to perform graphic production in advertising.
Contents of the Course Unit: The concept of advertising, its characteristics and types, advertising agencies and graphic producers, basic principles of graphic production in advertising, colour, composition, typography in graphic production, graphic production in advertising and visual identity, the relationship between graphic production in advertising and corporate identity components, graphic production in advertising and brand, brand identity, graphic production in advertising media (newspaper and magazine), graphic production in advertising media (television), graphic production in advertising media (outdoor and internet), graphic production case studies in advertising campaign examples and graphic production case studies in advertising constitute the content of this course.

Defines the concept of advertising correctly.
Explains the stages of graphic production in advertising on a case study.
Analyses and compares examples of graphic production in advertising.
