OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to acquire skills related to responsible professional behaviors in order to solve problems competently in vocational education and practices, and to follow and apply diagnostic methods related to audiology in a clinical setting.
Contents of the Course Unit: Clinical areas of audiology such as special assessment and treatment approaches in audiology, assessment of hearing, vestibular assessment, audiological and vestibular rehabilitation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Applies audiological diagnostic methods.
Applies the rules to be followed in the clinic.
Applies scientific methods within his / her authority in the diagnosis of patients with hearing loss and balance disorder.
Applies the necessary hearing tests in newborns and children in the hearing screening program.
Makes clinical observations at the application site.
Makes the evaluation of the cases encountered at the application place.
