OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: At the end of this course, students will be able to apply the basic principles that will enable them to conduct academic research in international scientific standards in the field of social sciences and to choose the right data collection and analysis methods in accordance with the subject of the research.
Contents of the Course Unit: In this course, topics related to the relationship between science, theory and research, and how processes are carried out from the design and realization of scientific research to reporting.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Knows the relationship between science, theory and research
Performs a scientific research design
Have knowledge, skills and competence to conduct research by applying scientific knowledge production processes.
It shares the produced scientific knowledge with the target public
Evaluates the suitability of the information produced in the field of science in terms of the production processes of scientific knowledge, can explain its nominal value and have the competence to use research results of this field of working in their studies.
