OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to introduce the concept of law and basic legal terminology in the fields of both private and public law. Also, Turkish judicial system and various types of legal disputes are introduced with practical examples. The course also aims to enable students to analyze the private law relations between individuals and improve analytical thinking skills.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes an examination of the concept of law, as well as a discussion of the sources of law and Turkish judicial system. A general introduction of administrative law, law of persons, inheritance law, law of property and law of obligations.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Course in accordance with the information transmitted to win students to understand the basic legal concepts.
Through assignments, students conduct academic research and legal research to gain proficiency in the language to paper.
