OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to teach life-saving medical interventions in pre-hospital and hospital emergencies in life-threatening situations.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course; It includes basic and advanced life support applications, defibrillation application, airway interventions, basic and advanced ECG topics in adults, children and infants.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Applies basic life support for adults, children and infants.
Determines the need for advanced life support.
Recognizes cardiac arrest.
It performs defibrillation.
Analyzes EKG.
Recognizes the need for care after cardiac arrest.
