OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this course, it is aimed to enable the students of the foreign trade department to understand the Turkish economy on a macro scale and also to understand the economic relations between the Union and Turkey after learning about the European Union in an institutional framework.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course is the Ottoman Economy in the Age of Globalization, the 19th century of the Ottoman Empire. Place among 19th Century Environmental Countries, World Economic Crisis and A Re-Look at the 1930s, Agriculture and Economic Development in Turkey, 1880-2000, Import Residency, Currency bottlenecks and Economic Growth in Turkey, 1947-1979, World and Turkey, 1820-2005, Production and National Income per Capita from Ottoman to Republic, 1907-1950, Prices and Wages in Turkey, 1820-2005, History of the European Union, Enlargement of the European Union, Council of the European Union, European Union Parliament includes the European Commission, the European Court of Justice, the European Union Summit, the European Central Bank, the European Court, the European Investment Bank, Turkey-European Union Relations.
