OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Preparing the Student's Thesis Proposal
Contents of the Course Unit: The thesis work includes the following stages. (1) the examination phase, which can be characterized as defining the topic of interest and familiarization with the topic, data collection and processing, and justification of the thesis topic. This process includes purpose, defining limitations, problem(s) to be solved or improvement(s) expected to be achieved. (2) the planning phase where the student considers what the collected information represents and what this information relates to for the general purposes of the thesis. This stage includes the presentation of the theoretical framework, which is found to be related to the thesis subject as a result of the literature review, the procedures for data collection and linking the theory to the subject of the thesis, and the methods and techniques to be used for the proper development and implementation of the thesis. (3) the implementation phase, in which the thesis development process is carried out by taking into account the evaluation and monitoring of the planning and development processes, (4) the evaluation phase, which includes thinking and drawing conclusions, and (5) the publication phase, in which the thesis is written, corrected, presented and defended.

Formulates problems, plans and executes advanced tasks within a set time.
Demonstrates the ability to discuss the results of the thesis and to present these results clearly and using written, oral and visual techniques.
