OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce economic and social integration and improve aptitude for analysing any relation, event and development held between sovereign countries and international organizations. The course aims to introduce integration theories and European Union in practice and relations between Turkey and European Union and exhibit differences of EU from other integration practices in the world.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include integration theories, relation of integration theories with EU, EU-Turkey relations; economical and other policies of EU; other integration practices Turkey is involved in. Various policies of the EU – agriculture, education and culture, foreign policy, digitalization, climate policy – will also be discussed.
