OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersle öğrencilere uluslararası ticaretin gerekliliği, makro yapısı, serbest ticaret, ticaret politikaları, önemli uluslararası kurumlar ve bu kurumların uluslararası ticaret pratiklerine olan etkilerinin öğretilmesi; merkantilist dönemden başlayıp bugüne dek süregelen ve dönüşen uluslararası ticaret teorilerinin aktarılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriği, klasik ticaret teorisi, Heckscher-Ohlin teoremi, eksik rekabet, ticaret kazançları, uluslararası ticarette kurumlar, Türkiye-AB Gümrük Birliği anlaşması, dış ticarette ödeme şekilleri, uluslararası ticarette kullanılan belgeler, gümrük mevzuatı ve uygulamaları, dış ödemeler bilançosu, dış ticaret politikaları uygulamaları, uluslararası ticaret ve ekonomik büyüme, ve ticaret teorisi ve kalkınma konularını kapsamaktadır.

Ülkeler arasında gerçekleştirilen uluslararası ticaretin nedenlerini ve gerekçelerini tarihsel bir perspektifle tanımlar
Merkantilist dönemden günümüze kadar süregelen uluslararası ticaret teorilerini, birbirinden farklı varsayımlarını ve önermelerini vurgulayarak listeler.
Ülkelerin uluslararası ticaret yapmalarında ve birbirine olan eklemlenmelerinde rol oynayan kurumların ve örgütlerin uyguladığı politikaları kapitalist ve heterodoks bir perspektifle yorumlar.
Türkiye’nin uyguladığı dış ticaret politikalarını ve bu politikaların dönemsel farklılıklarını dönemin etkin siyasi politikalarından yararlanarak analiz eder.
