OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce hardware structure in a computer, how to use Microsoft Office programs effectively and academic research methods over the internet.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include introduction to computer, hardware structure in a computer, office programs, computer technologies usage in an office environment, operating systems, applicable hardware planning integrated to software, graphic processes, presentation preparing techniques, internet concepts, database searching, constructing a data set and data system analysis.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Show hardware devices of computer over a computer
Interpret considerable functions of Microsoft applications
Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Construct data set by benefiting from several database.
Act upon making a literature review by benefiting from online libraries.
