OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to have an approach to forensic autopsy and autopsy conditions.
Contents of the Course Unit: Autopsy I course, Diagnosis of Death and Death, Symptoms of Death-Postmortem Interval Determination, Definition and History of Autopsy, Legal Regulations Regarding Autopsy, Autopsy Hall and Equipment, Introduction of Materials to be Used in Autopsy, Disinfection of Materials and Containers Used in Autopsy, Basic Stages and Autopsy Procedure- Preparation includes External Examination at Autopsy, Internal Examination at Autopsy, Laboratory Analysis of Autopsy Findings, Report-Reporting and Case Analysis.
