OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It aims to be able to perform the necessary emergency interventions to the victims or sick people in the pre-hospital and emergency services of the hospitals.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course; It includes basic life support applications in adults, children and infants, advanced life support, cardiac arrest, treatment during and after cardiac arrest, defibrillation procedure, ECG analysis, ECG rhythm intervention.

Applies basic life support for adults, children and infants.
Determines the need for advanced life support.
Recognizes cardiac arrest.
It performs defibrillation.
Analyzes EKG.
Knows the need for CPR in special situations.
