Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin Amacı Sterilizasyon ve dezenfeksiyon işlemlerini ve bunlar arasındaki farkları değerlendirmektir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriği, Sterilizasyon ve dezenfeksiyon kavramlarına giriş ve ilişkili tanımların verilmesi, Sterilizasyon ve dezenfeksiyon yöntemleri (ulusal/uluslar arası), Dezenfektanların mikroorganizma üzerine etkinliğinin önemi, Antiseptik ve dezenfektan maddelere karşı direnç sorunu, Sterilizasyon ve Dezenfeksiyon yöntemleri, uygulanmaları, avantaj ve dezavantajlarının tanımlanmaları, Sterilizasyonun kontrolünün önemi ve hangi yöntemlerle yapıldığı konularını kapsar.
