Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The objective of the course is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to trade by learning the functions of financial markets, instruments and institutions |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include; principles and elements of financial system, financial markets, financial institutions, financial instruments, financial structure theory, functions and types of money market, institutions and financial instruments in money market, functions and types of bond market, pricing, operating institutions and financial instruments functions and types of stock market, stock markets and over-the-counter markets, the benefits of financial intermediaries and the risks they face |

Define the basic principles of financial markets and financial system |
