OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce the underlying political and ideological reasons for the foundations of international trade blocks, analysis of management structure and activities of international trade blocks.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the underlying ideological and political reasons for the foundations of international trade blocks, League of Nations and United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organisation, Custom Tariffs and Treaty of Commerce, International Labour Organisation, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, G-8 and G-24, European Union and European Central Bank, North American Free Trade Area and Latin American Free Trade Area and Central American Common Market and Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Contrast between underlying reasons for the foundations of trade organizations and differences between them
