OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This lesson; It aims to understand the importance of communication and the communication process, to understand the impact of the concepts of perception, persuasion and empathy in the communication process, to gain interpersonal communication skills and to develop effective communication strategies in organizational relations.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course consists of explaining the basic facts and concepts of communication and communication models, the place and importance of communication, learning the concepts of communication conflicts and empathy, mass communication in the media and how to carry out communication applications in the media.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

It accurately defines what communication practices are within the framework of the basic concepts of communication.
Explains the features that communication applications should have in line with past communication applications.
Explains information about the structure and basis of communication.
Interprets activities related to communication applications according to field characteristics.
Discusses the difference between persuasive communication and other types of communication.
Explain at least 3 features of communication applications with an existing communication program.
