OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to explain art and media in the historical process from the Middle Ages to the present in the context of the effects of globalization and digitalization, after giving the student the basic concepts of communication and art.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes basic information about communication and art, the medieval, Enlightenment, Modernization and Globalization periods and information about the relationship between art.

Explain the basic information about communication and art.
Summarize the transformation of art and media relationship from the Middle Ages to Modernization.
Interprets the relationship between media and art from the Middle Ages to the present in the socio-economic context.
Evaluates the globalization and digitalization phenomena in a critical perspective by associating with communication and art.
