OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu ders, çevre olgusuna ilişkin yasal ve yönetsel temellerin çevrenin sürdürülebilirliğini güvence altına almayı amaçlayan uluslararası belgelerin katkılarıyla incelenmesi ile dünyadaki ve ülkemizdeki çevresel meselelere dikkat çekmek ve öğrencilere bu sorunların nedenleri ve çözümleri konusunda eleştirel bir bakış açısı kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriğini, sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, çevre kavramı, çevre ve sürdürülebilirlik arasındaki ilişki, ulusal ve uluslararası mevzuattaki yeri, Türkiye’de çevre politikası ve uygulamaları, çevre sorunlarının çözümü noktasında sürdürülebilirlik yaklaşımı oluşturmaktadır.

Sürdürülebilirlik kavramını sahip olduğu temel değerlerle tanımlar.
Çevre yönetiminin temel ilkelerini açıklar.
Doğal kaynaklar, nüfus artışı, enerji ve yoksulluk gibi araçlar aracılığıyla çevre yönetim politikasını tartışır.
Çevre yönetiminin ulusal mevzuattaki yerini açıklar.
Sürdürülebilirlik kavramı ile çevre yönetimini ilişkilendirir.
Sürdürebilirlik kavramı ve çevre yönetimi ilişkisinin ulusal ve uluslararası mevzuattaki yerini analiz eder.
Türkiye’de çevre koruma yönlü yasal düzenlemeler, yönetsel-politik yapılar ve bakanlıkların çevre koruma yönlü görevlerini açıklar.
