OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to understand the concepts of global logistics and the relationship between logistics and trade, to emphasize the strategic importance of important logistics bases and ports in the world, to have information about transportation management and transportation mode selection, to provide information about Turkey's global logistics vision through national and international examples, and to understand the role of transportation corridors in global logistics processes.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course covers basic topics such as global logistics management, logistics bases, ports and transport corridors. It also focuses on major logistics regions around the world and Turkey's logistics targets.

Defines the concept of global logistics.
Explain the relationship between global logistics and trade.
