OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to inform the students about the social and moral discussions related to their professions, to introduce and express their opinions by introducing different opinions and approaches on these issues.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as concepts, ethical theories, professional ethics, rules of professional behaviour, responsibility, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, copyrights, patents, license agreements, cybercrimes and social impacts of information technology.

Know the ethical and moral issues.
Behave in accordance with ethical behaviour in his/her field.
Express the moral opinion about informatics orally and in writing.
Integrate the ethical and exemplary business applications into their work-flow.
