OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to discuss how the future will be shaped, the effects of the developing information technologies on the future, the solutions to the problems that may arise and to examine the new trends.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as in the developing information technologies, changes and transformations in the media and the predictions about the future.

Explain the concept of futurism and its meaning for different disciplines.
Sample the scenarios required to design the future.
Express the way of change, its models, how it affects the world in his/her own words.
Estimate how the future will be and how the issues that affect today's social life will be shaped.
