OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce basic and current concepts related to international communication which has an important place in the 21st century.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include topics such as globalization, international media and cultural relations, and the main trends of international communication companies.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Show at least 3 examples on basic concepts of international communication by recognizing these concepts.
Interpret the current system by associating international communication with new media, one of the most important mediums of 21st Century.
Examine privatization and liberalization policies in media companies axis.
Analyze international communication companies through cultural imperialism.
