OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to teach the foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey since its foundation in order to provide independent thinking and to provide students with the ability to critically evaluate foreign policy.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course covers the factors affecting Turkish foreign policy, the role of decision makers, the impact of systemic factors on Turkish foreign policy, relations with the Middle East, Europe, Asia, the Balkans, the Caucasus, relations with international organizations, and breaking points in Turkish foreign policy.

Explains colonial history and its effects on contemporary Latin American society and politics.
Distinguishes the intricate nature of Latin America's broad political and economic challenges and achievements.
Relates social phenomena and patterns such as income inequality and economic crises with the histories and structures of Latin societies.
Explains the local and international basis of military interventions.
Evaluates the international relations of Latin Americas
