OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to examine the relationship between art and psychology in the past and at present and to gain the knowledge and comprehension that students can understand and assimilate the Art Therapy course, and to enable the students to have knowledge about the psychological value of art in human life, the methods to implement this in the therapy and its possibilities, and also to broaden the horizons of the students.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as "psychology of art and theories of psychology influencing art".

Define the relationship between art and psychology, the concepts of therapy, group therapies, mental disorders. (Bloom’s 1)
Evaluate the relationship between history of psychotherapy and psychology. (Bloom’s 5)

Interpret the art therapy or production results with art. (Bloom’s 3)
