OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin amacı öğrencilere basın fotoğrafçılığı ile ilgili temel kavramları, ilkeleri, teorik ve uygulamalı bilgileri kazandırmaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu ders, fotoğrafçı ya da fotomuhabir olarak fotoğraf üretirken dikkat edilmesi gereken unsurları, basın fotoğraflarının gazetelerde yer alma süreçlerini, editörlerin fotoğrafları seçerken dikkat ettiği kriterleri ve gazetelerde yer alan fotoğrafların kamuoyuna etkisini kapsamaktadır.

Öğrenciler medya fotoğrafçılığına dair aldıkları temel bilgiler doğrultusunda fotoğrafın habercilikteki önemini tartışabilir.
Seçenek olarak gösterilen fotoğraflar arasından basın fotoğrafçılığında kullanılması gereken doğru fotoğrafları seçebilir.
Basın fotoğraflarına yansıyan olumlu veya olumsuz öğeleri yönetebilir.
Ödüllü basın fotoğrafı örnekleri üzerinden fotoğrafların niteliklerini analiz eder.
Türkiye'deki basın fotoğrafçılığının tarihi dönüşümünü açıklayabilir.
