OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı, ilk şehirleşme sürecinden başlayarak, geçmişten bugüne bilimsel veriler bağlamında kent, kültür ve medeniyet arasındaki ilişkiyi öğretmek ve dünya şehirlerini tanıtmaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Neolitik Dönemden başlayarak ilk şehirleşme hareketleri, şehir, kültür, medeniyet kavramlarının oluşumu ve gelişimi, Batı ve Doğu Medeniyetleri, İslam ve Hristiyan Medeniyetleri, Anadolu’daki şehirler konularını kapsamaktadır.
