Objectives of the Course Unit:	Türk tarihi ve kültürü hakkında bilgi vermektir
Contents of the Course Unit:	Türk medeniyetleri, Türk devletleri ve kültürü, devletlerde kültür sanat ve inanç sistemleri konularını kapsamaktadır.

Kültür ve medeniyet kavramlarını tanımlar
Tarih öncesi Türk kültürü sınıflandırmalarını yapar.
Coğrafi çevre, insan, toplum gibi ana unsurların kültürü nasıl şekillendirdiğini açıklar.
İslamiyet öncesi kurulan Türk Devletlerinde teşkilat, iktisadi hayat, düşünce ve ahlak, kültür ve sanat ile bunların günümüzdeki uzantıları ya da geçirmiş olduğu değişimleri yorumlar.
